Procedures for Applying to the Hirsch Academy

Thank you for your interest in the Hirsch Academy. Currently, we are enrolling students who are 5 to 13 years old. We have a rolling admissions process throughout the year and encourage you to apply at any time.

To apply for admission for the upcoming academic year, please submit the items that are listed below. Please send items 1, 2, 4 & 5 together. Your child’s current school may send the school records separately.

1. A completed application form. Both parents or guardians must sign the application form.
2.   A copy of the most recent Psychological Evaluation, Occupational Therapy Evaluation and Speech and Language Evaluation.
3.   A copy of your child’s most recent school records (IEP, Teacher Evaluation or Report Card).
4.   A photograph of your child.
5.   $100.00 non-refundable application fee.

Upon receipt of this information, the Hirsch Academy staff will review your application and will contact you for an interview. The interview process lasts approximately one hour and includes a parent meeting. Both parents are required to attend. Once the interview process is completed, decisions regarding admission will be made as soon as possible.

Tuition
Tuition for the 2007-08 academic year is $25,000.
